Darien Peninsula Home  Hobi Award winner

This home sits upon a peninsula in the Tokeneke area of Darien. The first floor was elevated to maximize views of the surrounding cove and of Long Island Sound beyond. Between the birds and the fish there is always a "show going on".
Its foundation was designed to permit flood waters to flow freely beneath it.

We chose to go up an additional 2 stories. The water views are maximized with an open floor plan on the first floor. The second floor water views for for the master suite,while the third level was a large office space and storage.
