If I could give Mike more than 5 stars I would. We approached Mike with a small but complicted project. We needed to add a small addition for a full bathroom on the main floor of our house. There have been size restrictions due to not only zoning regulations but the foot print of our house. Mike has completed the perfect addition for us, the size conforms to all of our "obstacles" . The attention to the smallest detail is simply amazing. Mike has communicated with us throughout the project and has made multiple changes and tweaks to the design as both needed and suggested. His dimeanor is always positive and professional and upbeat when presented with a challenge. We are converting an existing garage into a two-floor apartment, and building a new garage elsewhere on my property. We had already gotten several estimates from contractors and they were inconsistent, difficult to compare and uncertain to meet our objectives. So we decided to start from scratch and use an architect to create plans that would meet our objectives, and serve as the basis for consistent bids from contractors. We interviewed about five architects. Michael was the best. Not only did he have an impressive portfolio, but there was great chemistry between us. And, although this was not the prime reason we selected him, he was substantially lower in price than the others. He charged by the hour...which I like...gave us an initial estimate of the price range, and finished his work well within that range.
